TuitionRewards are points that families can accumulate by working with a representative of TheCollegeTrust to begin planning and savings for college. 1 Point equals $1 - and these points can be redeemed for guaranteed college scholarships. There is no limit on the number of points that can be accumulated, and the sponsoring adult (parent, grandparent, uncle, or aunt) can assign these points at their discretion. Each of the 300+ participating colleges and universities have contractually guaranteed that they will provide a minimum scholarship for the redeemed points and apply it directly to the attending students tuition bill, broken up evenly over 4 years of attendance. The maximum number of points that can be used for any one student is the equivalent of 1 full year of tuition.

Example: If one year of college costs $40,000 and the sponsoring adult assigned 40,000 points to the attending students account. The student will receive a minimum scholarship of $10,000 every year, for their 4 years of attendance - reducing the total cost of attendance for that student by 25%.
